Practice Health Check
Score eight signals across revenue cycle, payer mix, referral concentration, authorization performance and infusion economics.
Illustrative assumptions. Default values here are example inputs for demonstration only — not validated reimbursement rates, costs or benchmarks. Replace every field with your own practice’s figures.
Scoring bands in this prototype are illustrative reference points chosen to demonstrate the mechanism — they are not licensed benchmark data. A production version would score against validated, sourced benchmarks appropriate to infectious disease practices of your size and payer mix, with the methodology published.

How this is calculated
- Each of eight signals is scored 0–100 by linear interpolation between a 'strong' and a 'weak' reference point.
- Signals are grouped into categories — revenue cycle, payer mix, capacity, staffing, and for ID referral concentration, authorization performance and infusion economics — and each category is scored on its own.
- Categories are weighted and combined into a single practice score; net collection rate and denial rate carry the most weight.
- The 'start here' recommendation is the signal with the lowest weight-adjusted score, not the lowest raw score.
What it does not do
- The reference points are illustrative demonstration values, not licensed benchmarks. A production version would score against validated, sourced data with published methodology.
- It cannot distinguish a definitional difference (gross vs net days in A/R) from a real performance difference.
- A score is a prompt to look somewhere specific. It is not a grade, and it is not a diagnosis.

A score tells you where to look. Persistex helps independent infectious disease practices identify revenue-cycle opportunities and the operational inefficiencies behind them — working from your real data rather than from estimates.
